About Redondo Beach Masonry
Who We Are
Redondo Beach Masonry is a licensed California masonry contractor working out of Redondo Beach and serving the beach cities and the Palos Verdes peninsula. We build retaining walls, brickwork, natural stone, concrete, stucco, pavers, outdoor kitchens and commercial block, and we have been doing it long enough that most of our work now comes from people we have already built something for.
How Long We Have Been Doing This
We have been laying brick, block and stone around the South Bay for years, working out of Redondo Beach and running crews from El Segundo down to the peninsula. The work started as walls and repairs on older beach houses and grew into full hardscape as those same clients kept calling back for the patio, the driveway and eventually the outdoor kitchen.
The Story Behind the Company
It began the way most masonry outfits do: one lead mason with a mixer and a truck, taking on the jobs bigger contractors would not schedule. What kept it going was the repeat work. Homeowners who had a wall built came back for the paver patio, then sent us to their neighbors, and the business grew almost entirely by word of mouth around the beach cities.
The Crew
Our masons are tradespeople first. Stone fitters, plasterers, concrete finishers and block layers who have each spent years doing one thing properly. Between them they have worked on 1920s brickwork, hillside block walls, and commercial site work to stamped drawings, and they all still turn up on site rather than sending someone else.
Materials and Brands We Work With
We buy from established regional suppliers for block, brick, stone and paver product, which means real warranties, consistent color batching and material that shows up when it was promised. For outdoor kitchens we install the major built-in grill and appliance brands to their own specification so the manufacturer coverage stays intact.
Why We Love It
Masonry is one of the few trades where you can drive past something you built twenty years ago and find it exactly as you left it. That is the appeal, and it is why we would rather do fewer jobs properly than more of them quickly. Every wall, patio and repair across everything we build in brick, block and stone gets built as though we will be walking past it for the next two decades.
